Art from the New World Exhibition

If you are in Bristol between now and August 22nd check out Art from the New World at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. The exhibition has plenty of ‘off the wall’ art from 49 emerging and noted US artists from across the pond.

A fifteen-foot tall “ice cream cone” balloon sculpture created by, and topped with the characters of well-known street artist Buff Monster (who is featured in Banksy’s new film, Exit Through the Gift Shop)

Next exhibition tour and introduction to the contemporary American art scene with Richard Scarry, director of the Helford Gallery, is on August 21 August at 10am and 12pm.

Amnesty Art Auction Bristol

I have donated one of my Fomex Cityscape prints to the Amnesty Art Auction at the Watershed on Saturday 5th December. I have tried to support Amnesty as much as I can in my own way over the years.

The Actual print (below) is 84cm wide x 59cm high

There are plenty of artists that have donated art including: Banksy, Derren Brown, Trevor Haddrell, Steve Seal, Dom W and loads more. See the online gallery here

The conference room is open at 2pm to browse the work and the event is at 5pm.

Exhibitions of Work

I will be showing my work as part of the Bristol Art Fringe on the 26th-27th April 2009 which will be showcasing local artistic talent at open houses as well as galleries and public bars around the Montpelier area of Bristol.

The same work will also be on show at Bristol’s youngest and smallest art-gallery Room 212 (http://www.room212.co.uk) on the Gloucester Road in Bristol between Apr 26 - May 03.
